This place is phenomenal!! We sat and ate a Spanish focaccia which was very flavorful and would love to try they're regular foacaccia. We took some sourdough, jalapeño and cheddar sourdough, and gouda cheese bread home. I would 100% recommend this place. The service is fast and they are very friendly. I'll definitely be back for their sandwiches and sweets. It is a little shop but definitely a hidden gem. You won't be disappointed!!!

We stopped by this Guatemalan bakery while waiting for our dog to finish his grooming appointment, and it turned into such a delightful surprise! The moment we walked in, the smell of freshly baked bread wrapped around us, it was impossible not to smile. The staff were so kind and welcoming. They gave us a little tour of the breads and took the time to explain what each one was (and the gentleman at checkout had the sweetest smile!). Glenn tried a Conchita and an apple empanada, I had a small Nutella bread, and we shared a mini garlic loaf that was packed with gooey cheese and crispy bacon--absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. We're finally getting a bit of fall weather here in Florida, and the cool breeze made that warm bread taste even better. This place has such a cozy, friendly vibe. We can't wait to go back and try more!

Phenomenal! This family owned bakery offers a large selection of the freshest and tastiest treats and breads as well as sandwiches. The owners are super friendly and provide an introduction to each item in the case.

The most adorable bakery! Full of sooo many options, it will take many visits to try everything. The staff were also super helpful, explaining how to grab everything, and also what everything was. We bought about 10 different things, and ate it all over three days, and literally everything was delicious!

I came across this lovely little gem tucked in San Jose on TikTok and had to check it out. The origins of the bakery are Guatemalan, but they make all sorts of different cuisines for their baked goods (Italian loaf, sourdough, focaccia, etc). I went later in the day, so they had run out of some of the popular baked goods. But I managed to snag the last Pineapple Upside Down Cake and Custard Croissant — both of which tasted so light and fresh and delicious! The set-up is so cool — you grab a cute wicker basket + tongs near the entrance and then place whatever pastry or breads you want in it and check out at the front. And the service is phenomenal — if it’s your first time in, a worker will give you a personalized rundown of all of their baked goods and how the system works, and make some recommendations. Very welcoming experience. My only caveat would be to recommend going earlier in the day (around 10-11 am they suggested) to have more options available to you before things get sold out. I’ve heard their sandwiches are to die for, will definitely try one next time!

A truly legitimate and wonderful little bakery. The patrons are super nice and friendly and come up to you to help you immediately. The products look fresh and exceptional. The store is very well decorated and very clean. Also, you can see all of the operations on the back which is an excellent touch. There are many offerings you will not find anywhere else. I will be back again.

Delightful experience. I was looking for some fresh Italian rolls to make the Italian beef sandwiches with. The two prior stops, which claimed to be bakeries, were more like coffee shops with pastries. I stumbled across this place and was quite pleased with the quality of service and the rolls I took home to complete my dish. Nice small place that I believe is overlooked.

This bakery is amazing. I enjoyed a tasty and affordable dessert here, Pineapple Upside-down cake, and it was delicious. They seem to have a variety of savory and sweet baked goods, though they also begin to run out by midday. I got the last of that cake, for example, at 1pm. I would definitely buy from here when I'm in the area again!

I stopped by St. Gabriel on a Saturday afternoon and was excited to bring my Guatemalan boyfriend here to try some authentic treats he’s been searching for around Jacksonville over the past year. We were greeted warmly and even given a quick tour of the bakery. The space is beautifully decorated, and when I asked about it, the owner shared that his mother actually made all of the decorations for the shop, which I thought was a really special touch. After looking around, I ordered a fresh strawberry blackberry smoothie and the burrata caprese open-face sandwich—both were delicious. The smoothie was also surprisingly large, which I appreciated since I took it to go and enjoyed it on the drive home. My boyfriend ordered the roast beef sandwich, and we decided to sit by the window and eat there. He also tried the strawberry lemonade, which had fresh strawberry pieces in it and was really refreshing. Before leaving, we picked up a bag of baked goods to bring home for his family as well. I felt as though the prices were very reasonable here which is much appreciated in this economy. Most local bakeries are a little on the high side - not this one. Overall, it was a great first visit and I’d happily come back again.
